Network and system administrators depend on these tools to manage capacity, troubleshoot performance bottlenecks, and ensure the underlying infrastructure is robust and secure. Increasingly, application developers are also direct consumers of monitoring data, using Application Performance Monitoring (APM) tools to understand how their code behaves in production and to optimize performance. Furthermore, security analysts leverage monitoring and log data to detect unusual patterns that may indicate a security breach or an insider threat. Even business leaders and product managers are now using high-level dashboards to track key business metrics, such as user engagement, conversion rates, and the revenue impact of system performance, making system monitoring a vital source of intelligence for strategic decision-making.
